Learn moreFrom two kindergarten classes in a room of the historic Prag Mahal to one of Bhuj's most familiar campuses — Maa Ashapura Educational Complex has shaped generations of learners and teachers across Kachchh.
A child can begin their first day of school here, grow through every stage of schooling, and — for many — return as a trained teacher. That continuity is what makes MAEC a family, not just a school.

Founded in 1993 by the Shiv Shakti Circle Trust, Maa Ashapura Educational Complex has spent more than three decades building courage and confidence in the children of Kachchh.
Maa Ashapura Educational Complex is run by the Shiv Shakti Circle Trust, Bhuj. The Trust's first classes — junior and senior kindergarten — were held in 1993 inside the Prag Mahal Palace, with the consent of His Highness Maharao Shri Pragmalji Saheb III of Kutch.
As families placed their trust in us, the school grew class by class. Today, our own campus on Mundra Road houses pre-primary, English medium and Gujarati medium schooling, and a College of Education established in 2004.
Through every chapter — including the years of rebuilding that followed the 2001 Kachchh earthquake — our purpose has stayed the same: to give every learner the courage to try and the confidence to lead.
To be Kachchh's most trusted place of learning — where every child discovers their potential and every teacher is equipped to unlock it in others.
The Shiv Shakti Circle Trust begins Jr. & Sr. KG classes in a room of the Prag Mahal Palace, Bhuj.
As the first children move up, primary and then secondary sections are added in English and Gujarati medium.
Alongside the people of Kachchh, the institution perseveres and rebuilds after the Gujarat earthquake.
The B.Ed college is established, affiliated to Kachchh University — extending our mission to teacher training.
Four institutions share one campus on Mundra Road, serving thousands of families over three decades.
Our new website brings admissions, notices, galleries and resources online for the whole MAEC community.
Six values guide how we teach, how we lead, and how we treat one another.
To ask questions, attempt the difficult, and stand up for what is right.
Built through practice, encouragement and every small success.
Honesty and fairness in the classroom, on the field and beyond.
For teachers, elders, peers, our culture and our environment.
Habits of punctuality, focus and responsibility that last a lifetime.
A sense of duty towards our community and the region we call home.
From the first day of kindergarten to a professional degree in teaching — every stage of learning, on a single trusted campus.
Our Junior and Senior KG classes are the original MAEC classrooms. Through stories, songs, play and gentle routine, little learners develop language, numeracy, motor skills and the confidence to express themselves.
A rigorous, board-aligned programme taught in English — building fluency, analytical thinking and exam readiness, while keeping values and culture at the centre.
Research consistently shows children learn best in their mother tongue. Our Gujarati medium section combines that strength with a modern, well-rounded curriculum and strong English as a subject.
Our two-year B.Ed programme prepares graduates to become confident, reflective and skilled educators — combining pedagogy and educational psychology with real classroom experience.
Our approach follows the developmental stages envisioned in India's National Education Policy — the right learning, at the right age.
Play, discovery and activity-based learning to build language and numeracy.
